The increase was fueled by a packed event calendar that included the highly anticipated return of the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. This multi-weekend spectacle drew crowds during the evenings, showcasing world-class fireworks displays by international teams.
Complementing the pyromusical draw were sold-out concerts by global artists such as Maroon 5, NIKI, Wave to Earth, and K-pop stars Baekhyun and Taeyeon. Major sporting events, including the UAAP volleyball season, further boosted youth and university engagement at the estate.
Integrated, experience-led strategy

SM Prime’s MOA Complex is home to major commercial assets such as SM Mall of Asia, the SMX Convention Center, the MOA Arena, and the world’s largest IKEA store. The complex is widely regarded as the company’s pioneering integrated development.
Lim noted that the company is capitalizing on the consumer shift toward experience-driven spending by aligning its events and programming accordingly.
Maintaining growth momentum
SM Prime also reported an 11 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated net income for Q1, powered by robust mall operations.
