New holiday dish celebrates Filipinos’ love for all things cheesy

Cheese lovers unite! As Filipino families map out their holiday spread, few ingredients spark as much joy as cheese. 

From spaghetti and macaroni salad to bibingka and puto bumbong, cheese has long been the quiet star of the season. This year, Pizza Hut is leaning fully into that festive indulgence with a new offering designed to amplify both nostalgia and novelty.

The big picture

Pizza Hut has unveiled the Ultimate Cheesy 8 Pizza, available for a limited time and positioned as the brand’s holiday centerpiece. 

The product brings together eight cheeses sourced from around the world, creating a value-forward pitch for consumers looking to elevate their celebrations without straying too far from tradition.

Driving the flavors

The Ultimate Cheesy 8 blends mozzarella from the US and New Zealand, parmesan from New Zealand, cheddar and cheese fondue from the US, Gouda, feta, and cream cheese from Denmark, and queso de bola from the Philippines. 

It also comes with a hot honey dip meant to bridge comfort and experimentation.

The pizza starts at P589 and is available across all major crust formats including Pan, Mega Crunch, Stuffed Crust, and Ultimate Cheesy Bites.

Holiday bundles

To widen appeal and push group consumption, Pizza Hut is pairing the new pizza with two combo offerings. The Ultimate Cheesy Feast for four, priced at P1,699, includes one large Ultimate Cheesy 8 Stuffed Crust Pizza, one family pasta, six Wingstreet wings in any flavor, and a Pepsi pitcher for dine-in or a Pepsi 1.5L for take-out and delivery.

For larger gatherings, the Ultimate Cheesy Feast for six to eight at P2,899 adds volume: One large Ultimate Cheesy 8 Stuffed Crust Pizza, one large pepperoni and mushroom Panalo Pan Pizza, one large pasta, a 12-piece Wingstreet sampler, and two Pepsi pitchers or two Pepsi 1.5L for take-out and delivery.

What’s next

Pizza Hut aims to capture heightened seasonal demand by offering multiple ordering channels, from dine-in and take-out to hotline, website, app, and delivery partners GrabFood and foodpanda.
