Kuya J to expand 86-branch network with aggressive franchise growth plan

Kuya J, a popular homegrown restaurant chain in the Philippines, has unveiled an aggressive expansion plan aimed at broadening the footprint of its 86-branch franchise network across more locations nationwide.

In a statement, Carlo Fajardo, chief operations officer of the Kuya J Group’s franchise division, said the company is committed to delivering quality Filipino cuisine and dining experiences to more locations.

The expansion plan is underpinned by the restaurant’s strong performance, with the company expecting to report a 20% sales growth this year.

It said that each branch has so far demonstrated double-digit growth, driven by product development and the introduction of new menu items, including a stronger focus on seafood.

Kuya J said its franchisees will benefit from refined operations, world-class support, and a well-established brand known for its Filipino interior design and locally sourced ingredients.

The company’s expansion strategy leverages on its roots in Filipino culture, and a dining experience that is tied closely local traditions.

Originally starting as a small eatery in Cebu in 2012, Kuya J has since evolved into a popular dining spot for families and groups.
