In a statement, the company said this initiative aligns with its vision to create integrated urban communities that support modern work-life balance.
MyTown — which currently has 14 residential facilities near Bonifacio Global City and Makati’s central business district — offers a unique “walk-to-work” lifestyle.
The company said this proximity significantly reduces commute times, providing residents with more time to pursue personal interests and maintain a healthier work-life balance.
The network's community of residents primarily consists of millennial and Gen Z professionals, who appreciate the convenience and supportive environment that MyTown offers.
Each facility is equipped with amenities designed for both relaxation and productivity, including co-working spaces with high-speed internet, indoor cinemas, and fitness centers.
Marvin Mauricio, a 25-year-old software engineer living in MyTown, shared his experience, saying living in the dorm has allowed him to make meaningful connections and focus on his career without the stress of long commutes.
Ruby Claire Prima, another resident, praised MyTown for its supportive environment. She said that, as someone involved in multiple initiatives, living in MyTown enabled her to manage her responsibilities effectively while being part of the community.
MyTown’s CEO, Jogee Arellano, highlighted the co-living space’s unique value proposition, saying residents “thrive in a harmonious environment that blends camaraderie and collaboration, creating a space where living and working merge seamlessly.”
Offering a range of accommodation options, with rates starting as low as P4,260 per person per month, MyTown is set to become a cornerstone of urban living for the emerging workforce, the SM Group said.
