The beachside convention venue was inaugurated on March 16 by Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Venue for international gatherings
The two-level standalone facility features a high-ceiling pillarless hall that can host around 3,000 delegates, along with meeting rooms, VIP lounges and beachfront function areas.
The venue has already hosted the ASEAN Travel Exchange and will serve as the official venue for the upcoming ASEAN Leaders’ Summit in May.
Megaworld sees tourism and investment boost

Historic milestone

“Together, these developments further strengthen Cebu’s role as a gateway for tourism and business in the Philippines,” he added.
Township strategy drives returns
The convention center sits beside the township’s hotels, including Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown and Mercure Mactan Cebu, positioning Megaworld to capture tourism spending while boosting property values across the estate.
