The company has partnered with Polilya Craft Beer and Cocktails in Poblacion for a Halloween-themed event on Oct. 29, featuring specialty drinks designed to highlight the versatility of its rum products.
The collaboration forms part of Polilya's three-day Halloween Bash, which begins with Thriller Night on Thursday. A specially curated Tanduay cocktail menu will be available starting at 5:30 p.m.
Creative cocktails
The menu features three Halloween-inspired cocktails incorporating local flavors and different rum variants.
Dancing in the Moonlight combines Tanduay Asian Rum Silver with jackfruit, pandan and ube. Blood on the Floor blends Tanduay Asian Rum Gold with red wine, mango and banana, while Bite Me Baby uses Tanduay Especia with durian, ginger and chili.
“Halloween is a great opportunity to celebrate with friends over creative cocktails. We’re excited to work with Polilya in bringing guests a fun way to ring in the season,” Tanduay digital brand manager Edzel Ty said in a press statement.
The partnership provides an opportunity for Tanduay to showcase its rum selections through cocktails that incorporate familiar Filipino ingredients.
Witch’s Float
Tanduay is also extending its Halloween campaign to consumers celebrating at home through Witch's Float, a cocktail featuring Tanduay 5 Years.
The recipe combines the rum with vanilla syrup, calamansi juice and grenadine, topped with whipped cream. The company said the ingredients were selected for their accessibility and ease of preparation.
“With the Witch’s Float, we wanted to give something that can be easily recreated at home, with ingredients that you can conveniently source featuring one of our best-selling rum products,” Ty mentioned.
A rum for every occasion
The Halloween collaboration reflects Tanduay's efforts to connect with consumers through occasion-based experiences while highlighting different products in its rum portfolio.
The company, which has been part of the Lucio Tan Group since 1988, continues to build its brand presence through product offerings and consumer-focused activities.
