The conglomerate’s investments integrate port operations, industrial estates and manufacturing facilities, providing businesses with opportunities to expand operations beyond traditional economic centers.
Increase in export earnings
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, Davao Region recorded $1.98 billion in external trade during the fourth quarter of 2025, up 19.18 percent year-on-year. Export earnings increased 37.67 percent to $1.01 billion.
Supporting this trade activity is ANFLOCOR’s Davao International Container Terminal, which handles an average of 350,000 twenty-foot equivalent units annually. The port connects Mindanao to major shipping destinations across China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and Indonesia.
P8.5 billion in combined investments
Located approximately 300 meters from the terminal, the 63-hectare Philippine Economic Zone Authority-registered Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) provides facilities for manufacturing, processing, warehousing and export-oriented businesses.
Developed by Damosa Land, the estate and its locators have attracted an estimated P8.5 billion in combined investments over its first decade.
Investment activity continues in 2026 with GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation’s cold storage facility and another international manufacturing operation expected toward year-end.
To support infra development in Mindanao
ANFLOCOR is also partnering with PHINMA’s Philcement Corporation to develop a cement manufacturing facility with a planned annual capacity of two million metric tons, supported by dedicated bulk cargo infrastructure near the port.
The project is expected to strengthen construction materials supply chains and support infrastructure development across Mindanao.
“Strengthening the country’s trade competitiveness requires continued investment in industrial and logistics infrastructure across the regions,” Damosa Land president Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo said in a press statement.
