The backstory
A Mexican national, Alarcón joined Nestlé in 1999 and has held senior commercial and executive roles in multiple regions including Africa, Australia, and Switzerland. His most recent post was as CEO of Nestlé Central and West Africa, where he oversaw operations in 25 countries.
