J.P. Morgan shuts analytics unit; 250 Manila, Cebu, Baguio jobs hit
The discontinuation touches a small segment of the bank’s Philippine workforce. The roughly 250 Aumni roles represent around one percent of J.P. Morgan’s more than 25,000 employees in the country, spread across major hubs in Metro Manila, Cebu and Baguio. These sites serve as critical support centers for global operations.

DOLE-7 hit for premature naming of BPO firms after Cebu earthquake
CEBU CITY—The IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) has taken issue with the Department of Labor and Employment in Central Visayas (DOLE-7) for prematurely naming six IT-BPM firms that were issued work stoppage orders over alleged safety violations following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that hit Cebu on Sept. 30.
