Among them, 90 employees from the Jollibee Group main office and its Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Chowking and Greenwich brands joined the annual International Coastal Cleanup at SM by the Bay in Pasay on Sept. 19.
Why it matters
Working alongside volunteers from other organizations, employees collected more than 400 kilograms of waste from the shoreline, helping remove trash and debris that could threaten coastlines and marine ecosystems.
Another 266 Jollibee Group employees participated in simultaneous cleanup activities in other parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, according to a Jollibee Group release.
The bigger picture
The Jollibee Group Foundation and the company’s Human Resources team led the group’s participation in the cleanup organized by SM by the Bay.
The activity contributes to the Jollibee Group’s goal of reaching 10,000 employee volunteer hours annually under Joy for Tomorrow, its sustainability agenda covering initiatives intended to support communities and the environment.
The cleanup also brought together employees from several of the group’s major restaurant brands, creating a company-wide volunteer effort focused on marine and coastal protection.

The International Coastal Cleanup is a global volunteer movement that mobilizes people to remove trash and debris from coastlines and waterways worldwide.
The 2026 activity marked the second consecutive year that the Jollibee Group participated in the International Coastal Cleanup.
