The collaboration will make Jackery’s portable power stations and solar charging products available across Silicon Valley and SVGA outlets nationwide, giving consumers wider access to emergency and off-grid power options. The move comes as energy security remains a concern for households and remote workers affected by periodic power interruptions.
Why it matters
The partnership positions Jackery products alongside everyday consumer electronics, allowing shoppers to purchase backup power solutions where they already buy gadgets and computing equipment.
The company said the rollout supports its goal of making portable and clean energy more accessible to Filipino consumers.
“Jackery’s mission has always been about empowering Filipinos with power they can depend on, and partnering with Silicon Valley allows us to position our products right beside the essential gadgets that Filipinos use everyday,” Cognetics Inc. marketing and emerging business head Miguel Bonifacio said in a press statement.
“Silicon Valley’s massive retail network helps us to make clean and portable power within reach, allowing more people to achieve energy independence. So, whether you are a remote worker or the head of the family preparing for blackouts, dependable power is now available at your nearest Silicon Valley store,” Bonifacio added.
The product lineup
The expanded retail offering includes the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus and Explorer 300 Plus, designed for powering smartphones, laptops, lamps, and other small electronics.
The company is also bringing the Explorer 1000 v2, which can support essential household appliances such as refrigerators, fans, and Wi-Fi routers for extended periods.
Also available is the SolarSaga 100W, a foldable solar panel designed for portable and off-grid charging. Jackery said its products provide a quieter and indoor-safe alternative to conventional gas-powered generators.
The company said the nationwide rollout is only the first phase of its expansion efforts and hinted at additional announcements in the coming months as it strengthens its Philippine market presence. —Vanessa Hidalgo| Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
