Insider Spotlight
A Philippine skincare brand known for turning acne treatment into a fashion statement is making its mark in Singapore, signaling growing momentum for homegrown beauty labels looking beyond the local market.
Posh Skin Co.®, the Philippines’ top-selling designer pimple patch brand, has officially entered Singapore through an exclusive partnership with 7-Eleven, marking its second market in Southeast Asia.
Why it matters
Singapore is one of the region’s most trend-driven and brand-conscious skincare markets, often serving as a testing ground for wider regional expansion. A successful entry there can validate a Filipino brand’s global potential.
The big picture
Posh Skin Co. built its following in the Philippines by combining playful aesthetics with K-Beauty-inspired formulations, appealing strongly to Gen Z consumers who want effective skincare without sacrificing style.
Since launching last November, the brand has expanded rapidly across more than 700 retail outlets nationwide, laying the groundwork for regional growth.
Now in Singapore, its products are available exclusively in selected 7-Eleven stores, bringing Filipino-designed skincare into a market long dominated by Korean, Japanese, and Western brands.
What they’re saying
“Introducing Posh Skin Co. to the Singaporean market reinforces our commitment to bringing in trendy, youth-driven products that reflect what our customers are excited about today,” Samantha Poon, Health & Beauty Category manager of 7-Eleven, said in a press release.
“We believe its fun designs and proven efficacy will strongly resonate with young shoppers who want fast, effective, and stylish skincare on the go."

Meanwhile, Kimtan Labs, a Singapore-based fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion.
“Launching Posh Skin Co. in Singapore is a momentous step in our mission to empower the next generation across Southeast Asia to embrace their skin with confidence and fun,” said Dowan Kim of Kimtan Labs.
Under the hood
While the brand is Filipino at heart, its products are formulated in South Korea and feature a triple-action approach using hydrocolloid, salicylic acid, and tea tree oil.
The patches are dermatologically tested and cruelty-free, positioning them competitively in a market that values both efficacy and ethics.
What’s next
Singapore is only the beginning. The company has signaled plans to expand into Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Dubai, and East Africa, reflecting broader ambitions for Philippine skincare brands to compete on a global stage.
The bottom line
As Filipino beauty startups mature, Singapore is emerging as a key launchpad. Posh Skin Co.’s entry into Singapore highlights how homegrown PH skincare brands are evolving from local favorites into regional contenders. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
