Digital Edge (Singapore) Holdings Pte. Ltd. said on Friday that its NARRA1 data center in Manila, which opened in early 2023, has become the first facility in Southeast Asia to secure two globally recognized industry certifications.

These include the ANSI/TIA-942-C certification for resilience, security, and quality, and the EDGE certification for green buildings.

The ANSI/TIA-942-C certification, awarded by EPI Certification Pte Ltd, is considered a gold standard for data center resiliency. NARRA1 received a Rating-3, indicating it is a concurrent maintainable data center, meaning it has multiple redundant capacity components and distribution paths.

NARRA1 was recognized for its resource-efficient design, including an innovative liquid cooling system and a market-leading Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.193.
