DigiCon sets confab with PH digital economy set to hit P5 trillion by 2030

The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) is set to host the 9th annual Digital Congress (DigiCon) on October 15-16, 2024, in Newport City, Metro Manila.

Under the theme "Revolution," the event aims to drive innovation and digital transformation in the Philippines, the group said in a statement.

The group said this annual event is its contribution to helping grow the country’s digital economy which the Philippine Statistics Authority said could reach P5 trillion in value by 2030 from only P2.05 trillion last year.

DigiCon Revolution 2024 will feature five focused tracks: e-commerce; digital transformation; digital brand building; analytics robotics process automation and data science; and innovation labs on artificial intelligence and Metaverse.

These tracks, along with masterclasses and workshops, aim to equip attendees with essential digital skills.

DigiCon co-chair Alan Fontanilla highlighted the event's impact, emphasizing its role in providing practical skills and substantial outcomes for attendees.

With over 2,000 expected participants from various sectors, DigiCon aims to foster collaboration and digital excellence.
