The recognition reinforces DHL Group’s emphasis on being an employer of choice, alongside its other bottom lines of profitability, customer service, and environmental stewardship.
Leadership perspective
"Our people are the center of everything we do. I am proud of our achievement for consistently being recognized as the preferred workplace," said Ken Lee, CEO for Asia Pacific, DHL Express.
"As we are confronted by evolving trade patterns and increasingly complex supply chains, we must remain focused, agile and adaptable, without compromising on our people's safety and overall wellbeing."
Lee added that a resilient culture and commitment to employee welfare will position the company for sustainable growth.
Strategy 2030 and workforce megatrends
The accolade comes as the logistics industry faces shifting workforce dynamics, one of the megatrends flagged in DHL’s Strategy 2030. New technologies are reshaping job roles, prompting the company to double down on upskilling, diversity, inclusivity, and digitalization.
Recent investments include advanced platforms to boost productivity across sales and customer service.
Celebrating employees
At its Employee of the Year Awards, DHL honored more than 200 employees across Asia Pacific who embodied the company’s values of speed, passion, and integrity. Concurrently, five employees were recognized as DHL’s Got Heart winners for making meaningful community impacts.
"Being recognized as one of Asia's top workplaces is a reflection of the culture we've built together – one that values inclusion, growth, and purpose," said Fadzlun Sapandi, EVP of HR at DHL Express.
