Dennis Uy’s Phoenix to file long-delayed reports by October 2025, years after due date

Davao-based tycoon Dennis A. Uy’s Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, says it might finally release its long-overdue financial reports by the end of October this year.

Responding to a query from the Philippine Stock Exchange, Phoenix said its newly appointed external auditor has yet to complete fieldwork for both 2023 and 2024.

“We will endeavor to submit the 2023 and 2024 audited financial statements, and its relevant quarterly reports, before 31 October, 2025,” said Phoenix, whose shares have been suspended since May 16, 2024.

In December 2023, the company changed its external auditor to PwC Philippines-Isla Lipana and Co.

The company, under pressure for missing regulatory deadlines, also said it’s working on a liability restructuring plan it believes will help restore its financial health.
