In collaboration with KCFI, BPI Foundation seeks to equip the younger generation with critical financial knowledge, such as saving and budgeting, to foster financial literacy and responsible decision-making from an early age.
Carmina Marquez, BPIF executive director, said “Estudyantipid” complements the foundation’s mission to create a financially empowered Philippines by educating youth and their families.
KCFI, a long-time partner of the Department of Education, will broadcast the video series through Knowledge Channel’s extensive reach, including TV, cable, and online platforms. The program is expected to benefit five million students nationwide, making a significant impact on their financial education.
Rina Lopez, president of KCFI, expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing its importance in building a more financially literate society.
The “Estudyantipid” series, launched on Sept. 13, 2024, at Ernesto Rondon High School, will be aired on Knowledge TV and made available to 10,000 schools nationwide connected to Knowledge Channel.
The videos will also air on A2Z Channel 11, Kapamilya Channel, One Media, Direct-To-Home, and Sky Cable. The full episodes will also be accessible online through Knowledge Channel’s YouTube Channel at @knowledgechannelorg.
