The company will hold a Metro Manila Grand Job Fair on Sept. 28 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., bringing recruiters for its Mega Manila operations together in one venue.
Applicants may undergo interviews and potentially receive job offers within the day, according to TP.
10,000 openings
The hiring drive covers customer expert positions supporting global accounts in telecommunications, healthcare, travel and global distribution systems, financial services, retail, digital advertising, sales and search engine optimization.
Other customer experience and business support positions will also be available.
TP said the range of openings reflects the different global businesses and customer programs handled by its Mega Manila operations.
The company has sites in Alabang in Muntinlupa, Antipolo, Molino in Cavite, Makati, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Taguig, Pasay, Pasig and Parañaque.
The job fair is open to experienced BPO workers as well as fresh graduates, career shifters and first-time applicants, including those without previous BPO experience.
Experienced workers can explore opportunities involving different accounts and career paths, while new entrants will have a chance to gain experience serving global customers, TP said.
Hiring process
Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register before the event to prepare for the recruitment process and identify positions that may match their skills and career interests.
Applicants should bring a valid identification card, an updated résumé or curriculum vitae and a pen.
They are also advised to bring an internet-connected device for scanning QR codes and creating their applicant profiles at the venue.
The event is a major component of TP's “Hello” recruitment campaign, which targets both experienced customer service professionals seeking new opportunities and people entering the BPO industry.
PH expansion
TP has operated in the Philippines for 30 years and now employs about 60,000 people nationwide.
Beyond Metro Manila, the company operates regional information technology hubs in Cebu, Bacolod, Baguio, Clark, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Laoag and General Santos.
The company recently received its ninth consecutive Great Place to Work certification.
TP said it plans to broaden its recruitment campaign further, with additional job fairs outside Metro Manila expected to be announced.
