Sy-led Dominion Holdings reports 30% profit jump in Q1

Sy family-led Dominion Holdings, formerly BDO Leasing and Finance, reported a 30 percent net income spike to P75.9 million during the first quarter of the year.  

This increase was driven by a 28 percent rise in gross Income, fueled by strategic shifts in its investment portfolio towards higher-yielding placements and debt securities. 

The company's total assets primarily consist of investment securities, reaching P6.45 billion during the period, while stockholders’ equity settled at P6.44 billion.
