The Social Security System (SSS) announced that all its branch offices nationwide will remain open and operate on regular business hours as it implements a flexible work arrangement starting Monday, June 3, 2024.

SSS president Rolando Ledesma Macasaet said the SSS headquarters in Quezon City and the corporate office in Makati will have a one-day work-from-home and four-day in-office schedule.

Employees at the SSS main office will work from home on Mondays and in the office from Tuesday to Friday, while those at the Makati office will work in the office from Monday to Thursday and from home on Fridays.

Macasaet emphasized that the business operations of all 254 SSS branch offices nationwide will not be affected.

Executive vice president Voltaire P. Agas added that branch offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and selected mall offices will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.

Finance Secretary Ralph G. Recto previously announced that the DOF adopted a four-day workweek starting this May to reduce the traffic burden on employees in the National Capital Region.
