Organized by the Zonta Club of Makati & Environs Foundation Inc., and supported by Security Bank, the biennial awards program celebrates women who exemplify courage, integrity, and service across various industries and communities.

This year’s honorees are:
Larissa Palma Chavez (Arts, Culture & Heritage): Storytelling advocate using literature to inspire change and promote literacy.
Maiki Oreta (Business): Journalist empowering youth through education-focused media and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Doreen Alicia Gamboa (Culinary): Promotes sustainable agriculture and preserves culinary heritage.
Maryan Cabasag Diaros (Education): Inclusive learning advocate working to bridge educational gaps in marginalized communities.
Sittie Habiba Sarip (Media and Public Affairs): Journalist promoting peace, cultural understanding, and Muslim women’s empowerment.
Andie Estrada (Social Services): Builds sustainable food systems and uplifts farmers’ livelihoods.
Jamie Christine Berberabe Lim (Sports): Karate champion inspiring youth and mentoring young athletes.
Dr. Emmeline Cua-De Los Santos (STEM): Surgical oncologist innovating breast cancer care and health education.
A special Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred on Glenda Barretto, pioneering chef and founder of Via Mare, recognized for her significant contribution to Philippine cuisine since 1975.
“These are the women whose strength and courage seldom make headlines, yet their impact ripples across generations,” said Aileen Ruiz–Zarate, chair of the Bravo Empowered Women Awards 2025. “Our honorees embody the resilience, brilliance, and quiet heroism of the Filipina.”
Now in its sixth edition, the Bravo Awards spotlight the influence of women across diverse fields—arts, education, business, media, social services, STEM, and sports—who are making meaningful contributions to Philippine society.
