RLC acquires Davao’s Victoria Plaza for mixed-use estate

Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) is acquiring the about nine-hectare Victoria Plaza complex along JP Laurel Avenue in Davao City, reinforcing its push to expand in high-growth regional markets.

The property will be redeveloped into a mixed-use estate, anchored by Cybergate Victoria, a multi-storey office building targeted for completion in the first half of 2027.

The acquisition positions RLC to unlock long-term value through a phased, large-scale development that will integrate office, retail, residential, hotel, and other commercial components.

By securing a sizable and strategically located site, the company aims to capture rising demand, diversify recurring income streams, and strengthen its portfolio of destination estates outside Metro Manila.

The move also reflects RLC’s disciplined capital allocation strategy and signals strong confidence in Davao’s economic trajectory, supported by growing investor interest and tenant demand in the region. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
