PH Hotel Connect 2025 to explore hospitality growth opportunities

The Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA) has announced the staging of Philippine Hotel Connect (PHCon) 2025—a two-day summit scheduled for July 24–25 at the Manila Marriott Hotel—designed to advance the country’s tourism and hospitality sectors through high-level dialogue, strategic partnerships, and investment-driven opportunities.

PHCon 2025 builds on the momentum of last year’s successful Philippine Tourism and Hotel Investment Summit. The event is co-presented by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR).

Organizers expect the event to draw 250 delegates, including hotel owners, investors, developers, and tourism stakeholders. The summit will feature a robust conference program with four plenary sessions, six panel discussions, and more than 30 top-tier speakers from across the private and public sectors.

"PHCon 2025 is a collaborative effort among all leaders in the tourism and hotel industry,” said Arthur Lopez, president of PHOA. “Through the contributions of time and expertise from our invited speakers, we are able to provide a platform for premier networking and strategy sharing to help solidify Philippine tourism’s global standing.”

Among the confirmed speakers are Mariana Zobel de Ayala of Ayala Land Inc. and Kevin Tan of Alliance Global Group Inc., underscoring the high-level participation in the conference. Organizers aim to tackle relevant topics in tourism growth, investment, policy, and sustainability.

“We’re thrilled with the positive response and the caliber of thought leaders who have agreed to take part,” said Francis Gotianun, chair of PHCon 2025. “The sessions will offer rare and insightful discourse that will benefit the entire industry.”

The event will also feature an industry-curated exhibition of 30 companies, showcasing innovative products, services, and partnership opportunities in tourism and hospitality. A highlight of the exhibit is TIEZA’s portfolio of tourism assets, available for joint ventures and direct investments.

“Our long-standing collaboration with PHOA has enabled us to engage directly with tourism decision-makers,” said Mark Lapid, COO of TIEZA. “Following last year’s summit, several partnerships emerged. This year, with our expanded project lineup, we expect even greater outcomes.”
