Customer service, buying experience, brand awareness
PAL was recognized as the top travel brand in the Philippines, achieving a brand score of 63.15 percent. Campaign Asia-Pacific, which compiled the rankings in partnership with research firm Milieu Insight, described PAL as “a firm favorite among Filipino consumers.
The rankings were determined based on factors such as brand awareness, buying experience, customer service, trustworthiness, innovation, and customer advocacy.
PAL excelled in key areas like customer service, buying experience, and domestic brand awareness, earning high marks from travelers.
Tough competition
“We are happy and proud to be recognized as a top Southeast Asian travel brand, and we continue to explore more ways to elevate the passenger experience across our global network," said PAL vice president for marketing Alvin Miranda in a statement.
"We laud the efforts of our employees and service partners in making this achievement possible and embodying the true Heart of the Filipino in the way they care for our passengers," he added.
Airlines from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore rounded out the top 10 list for 2024, showcasing the strong competition among Southeast Asia’s leading carriers.
Among most punctual airlines
PAL also earned a seventh-place ranking in the most punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024, according to London-based aviation analytics firm Cirium. The airline was the only Philippine carrier to make it to this list of Asia-Pacific’s Top Airline Performers. — Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
