Yulo personally chose a pearl white model of the luxury SUV, which was handed over during ceremonies at TMP's manufacturing plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on Monday, the company said in a statement.
The handover event was led by TMP president Masando Hashimoto and vice chairman David Go, alongside other top executives and the company’s labor union.
Yulo also toured the plant, learning about the local assembly of Toyota models like the Vios, Innova, and the upcoming Tamaraw.
In his speech, Hashimoto praised Yulo, saying, “Like the Prado, you are legendary in every way.”
He noted that Toyota Motor Corp. chairman Akio Toyoda was “very proud” of Yulo's achievements.
Yulo, who made history as the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to win multiple Olympic golds, expressed gratitude to TMP and the community that supported him.
He hopes the gift will inspire others to chase their dreams.
Yulo’s new 2025 Land Cruiser Prado is equipped with a 2.4 turbo engine and automatic transmission. Apart from “Platinum Pearl White Mica”, the Prado also comes in “Attitude Black Mica” and “Avant Garde Bronze”.
