Megaworld’s 35th year: more projects to boost tourism, generate jobs, says Kevin Tan

Megaworld Corp. on Wednesday reaffirmed its commitment to boosting the Philippine tourism sector by building more developments, while creating new townships across the country that would generate more jobs.

In his speech at the firm’s 35th anniversary celebration in Pasay City, Kevin Tan — CEO of the Alliance Global Group that owns the property developer — highlighted the company's focus on supporting government programs, particularly those aimed at drawing more visitors to the country.

Tan emphasized the company's role in nation-building, stating, “We will continue to support the government’s programs, especially on tourism, as we build more developments all over the Philippines that will further help boost our country’s booming tourism industry.”

He also announced plans to develop new townships in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, aiming to enrich lands and generate more jobs for Filipinos.

Tan thanked Megaworld's partners and employees for their contributions, underscoring their role in the company's success.

He also reiterated the firm's commitment to working alongside the government to uplift lives, impact society, and shape the nation’s future.
