Unilab-ULAP tie-up backs stronger local health systems
The Unilab Foundation, through its research and policy arm the Unilab Center for Health Policy (UCHP), has partnered with the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) to help accelerate and strengthen the implementation of the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act at the local level.

I had wondered how much better the health care access of the ordinary Filipino family is now under UHC but judging from the story of the father begging for financial support from complete strangers, it seems we still have a long way to go.
