Visayas grid back on red, yellow alerts after plant outage, line trip

CEBU CITY—The Visayas grid was placed back under red and yellow alert on July 8 after an emergency shutdown at a major power plant and the tripping of a transmission line reduced available supply, ending nearly a week-long respite from grid alerts.
