SM-backed Belle waives priority buyer rights to Lawrence Ho’s $1-B City of Dreams Manila casino

Gaming and real estate developer Belle Corp., one of the portfolio companies of the SM Group, will forgo its priority purchase rights to City of Dreams Manila but is not ruling out a future deal if partner Melco Group is unable to find a buyer.

Belle Corp., an affiliate of the Sy family’s SM Investments, facilitated a P100 million donation from Melco Foundation to South Cotabato and the Department of Education.
