Held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, the event—dubbed A Night with the Stars—honored employees, partners, and awardees who contributed to the firm’s growth since its establishment in 2010.
In his welcome remarks, founding partner and chair Roman Felipe "Manny" Reyes reflected on the firm’s early struggles and the values that enabled it to endure.
“We didn’t set out to be the biggest, only the best,” Reyes said. “But we had to go through growing pains, build a culture, and find the right people willing to take a risk.”
A firm rooted in principles
RT&Co. began operations with a clear value proposition: create a client-first organization with a culture anchored on integrity, respect, and high standards. That message, Reyes said, continues to resonate across the firm’s ranks.
“We were not perfect. But we never wavered in our principles,” he said.
Reyes recounted how the firm was born during a period of disruption in the professional services sector.
“We offered a different kind of firm, a home for those who believed in something more than just hierarchy,” he said. “We gave people room to grow, to be challenged, and to take ownership.”
Expanding leadership and capabilities
Over the past 15 years, RT&Co. has steadily grown its client base, broadened its service offerings, and deepened its talent pool.
“This year alone, we welcomed new partners, awarded loyalty milestones, and promoted dozens across the organization,” Reyes said. “Our pipeline is strong.”
He emphasized the firm’s commitment to developing leaders from within.
“What we’ve built is not just a partnership. It’s a platform,” he said. “It’s a place where you can lead without waiting for permission.”
Looking ahead
Reyes acknowledged that the firm’s journey is far from over.
“Fifteen years is a milestone, but we’re only just beginning,” he said. “The world is changing fast. Technology, regulation, and client expectations are shifting. We must evolve without losing our core.”
He urged the firm’s professionals to keep innovating while staying anchored in ethics.
“Growth must not come at the cost of values. We are here for the long run,” Reyes said. “Let’s build the next 15 years together, wiser and bolder.”
The evening also featured the promotion of new partners, loyalty and service awardees, and the presentation of the company's Abacus Awards for outstanding performance by its staff.
