The 15-story GH Tower, located at the heart of Greenhills Center, received its LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) on April 10, 2025—placing it among the Philippines’ top-tier sustainable office developments.
“Achieving LEED Gold for GH Tower reflects our long-term vision to deliver purpose-led, sustainable developments that enable communities and businesses to thrive,”Jose Emmanuel “Junie” Jalandoni, president and CEO of Ortigas Land said in a statement.
Raising the bar for green urban design
Launched in 2022 with a LEED Silver target, GH Tower surpassed expectations through enhanced design innovation, material selection, and operational systems. Its energy-efficient features include a double Low-E glass façade, renewable energy sourcing, and integrated water conservation systems, such as rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
The building’s design supports both environmental performance and tenant well-being, offering 2,800 sqm flexible floor plates, abundant natural light, and commuter- and cyclist-friendly facilities like bike lanes and shower areas.
“GH Tower is designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s tenants—combining operational efficiency, locational advantage, and environmental responsibility,” said Javier D. Hernandez, head of Ortigas Land’s office business unit.
A future-ready address in Greenhills
Strategically positioned within the Greenhills Center estate, GH Tower connects directly to GH Mall and over 1,000 retail and dining options, with access to 4,000 parking slots.
Through this milestone, Ortigas Land reinforces its commitment to smart, sustainable urban design—setting a new benchmark for green office developments in Metro Manila and beyond. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
