Organized by the DTI’s Bureau of Market Development, Promotions & OTOP (BMDPO), in partnership with regional and provincial DTI offices, the five-day showcase will feature over 250 standout micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) offering everything from heritage delicacies to cutting-edge food products.
“The National Food Fair serves as an essential platform for Filipino MSMEs to introduce their products and innovations to broader markets,” said Trade Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza D. Bautista. “We aim to empower entrepreneurs with critical opportunities and resources to thrive locally and globally.”
Fair highlights
A highlight of this year’s event is the launch of the DTI Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace, the largest business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform built to connect local MSMEs with international institutional buyers.
Attendees can explore a diverse array of food clusters showcasing fresh and processed seafood, artisanal snacks, fruit wines, coconut and cacao-based products, botanical drinks, health supplements, and more.
Visitors will also enjoy curated zones such as the Fresh Produce Grand Marketplace, KAPEtirya Coffee Pavilion, and the Kainan Dining Area.
Sustainability push
In support of sustainability, the fair will also spotlight eco-friendly packaging, plant-based alternatives, and functional snacks, while introducing the latest in food processing technology.
Beyond shopping, the fair offers daily live cooking demos, wine-mixing and food pairing sessions, product showcases, and cultural performances, making it a full sensory experience for food lovers, investors, and advocates of local innovation. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
