The DTI introduces the Negosyo Center Online Portal 2.0 (NCOP 2.0) on Sept. 28, bringing business registration assistance, advisory services, learning materials and mentoring onto a single platform.
The upgraded portal is designed to give entrepreneurs access to Negosyo Center services remotely, reducing the need to visit physical offices.
One-stop platform
Developed by DTI’s Negosyo Center Program Management Office, NCOP 2.0 will offer educational modules and one-on-one virtual pro bono coaching from certified business mentors alongside registration and advisory assistance.
Business owners can access the platform at negosyocenter.dti.gov.ph.
DTI said moving more Negosyo Center services online could save entrepreneurs time while extending assistance to businesses in remote and underserved communities where access to physical centers may be limited.
The portal will also provide updated educational content and access to a network of business advisers.
Tracking needs
Beyond services for entrepreneurs, NCOP 2.0 includes client profiling, content management and data analytics tools that DTI can use to identify business trends and assess the needs of MSMEs.
The agency said the information could help it refine programs based on how entrepreneurs use the platform and the types of assistance they seek.
The portal was introduced at DTI’s Model Negosyo Center in Makati City, with the event livestreamed on the agency’s Facebook page.
DTI officials, Negosyo Center program leads, entrepreneurs, business coaches and industry representatives attended the event. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
