  • The initiative combines insurance coverage, wellness benefits and livelihood pathways under one support ecosystem
  • The program has earned regional recognition for its social impact at the 2026 Insurance Asia Awards

Allianz PNB Life is strengthening its push for inclusive financial protection by expanding support for single mothers through its MaPanatag program, which combines insurance, health and wellness benefits, and income-generating opportunities into a single initiative designed to improve long-term financial security.

Why it matters

The insurer said the program addresses the realities faced by millions of single mothers who shoulder both caregiving and financial responsibilities. The initiative recently received the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Initiative of the Year recognition at the 2026 Insurance Asia Awards in Singapore, underscoring its social impact.

The details

MaPanatag is anchored on Allianz PNB Life's eAZY Health insurance product, providing life and health protection tailored to single mothers.

Beyond insurance coverage, participants receive access to HerBox, a health and wellness ecosystem powered by Allianz HealthBox that grants benefits worth up to P2,000 during the first year and P1,000 in succeeding years, along with curated discounts from partner merchants.

The company said the program also promotes financial independence by giving qualified single mothers the opportunity to join Allianz PNB Life's distribution force, enabling them to build additional income streams while serving their communities.

Delegates from across Allianz Asia Pacific celebrate at the Insurance Asia Awards 2026, where the region earned nine awards across six operating entities for initiatives in customer experience, claims, distribution, marketing, ESG, and community impact – a testament to the strength of One Allianz in Asia. | Contributed photo

What they're saying

“Through MaPanatag, we sought to address the realities faced by millions of single mothers in the Philippines by giving them the support and confidence to build a more secure future for themselves and their families. We share this award with all of them for pushing us to create solutions with purpose and meaningful impact,” chief of staff and chief marketing officer of Allianz PNB Life Rozanne Magararu said in a statement.

“At Allianz PNB Life, we believe that true inclusion means creating solutions that reflect the diverse realities of the people we serve. And as we continue to serve, we remain dedicated to developing more initiatives that help Filipinos from all walks of life achieve a more secure future,” she added.

By the numbers

Allianz PNB Life currently operates 21 business centers across the Philippines, supported by nearly 500 Financial Solutions Specialists serving Philippine National Bank customers and more than 2,450 Life Changers serving agency clients nationwide. The insurer also maintains an exclusive distributorship arrangement with HSBC Investment and Insurance Brokerage, Philippines Inc. for HSBC Wealth clients.

The bottom line

By integrating insurance protection, wellness support and livelihood opportunities into a single platform, Allianz PNB Life is positioning MaPanatag as a long-term financial inclusion initiative for single mothers while reinforcing its broader ESG strategy, with the regional award serving as validation of the program's impact rather than its defining story. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S.
