Based on the advisory from the MCIA, eight flights from Cebu to Siagao had been cancelled as of 11 a.m. on Nov. 3, 2025. These were: DG6857, PR2382, DG6861, DG6855, DG6853, DG6859 and 2R857.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 was hoisted over Dinagat Islands and the northern portion of Surigao del Norte, including Siargao Island, as well as the southern portion of Eastern Samar, the central and southern portions of Leyte, Southern Leyte, and the eastern portion of Bohol.
Winds of 89 to 117 kilometers per hour may be expected in these areas, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
As of 11 a.m., Tino was estimated 285 km east, southeast Guiuan of Eastern Samar. It was moving west, southwestward at 25 km per hour. Its maximum sustained wind was at 120 km per hour near the center with gustiness of about 150 km per hour.
Among the outbound flights from Cebu affected were PR2238 (Tacloban), PR233 (Butuan), DG6897 and DG6901 (Surigao), and PR2651 (Borongan, Eastern Samar).
Thirteen inbound flights were also canceled, including eight from Siargao and five from other Visayas and Mindanao destinations.
“We advise all affected passengers to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates on flight status, rebooking options, and other inquiries,” the MCIA said in its 11 a.m. advisory.
