The signing ceremony took place during the SEC Tribute to Outstanding Achievements on March 19, with Trade Secretary Cristina A. Roque emphasizing the agreement’s role in promoting a business-friendly and competitive economic environment.
“The SCORE Protocol is a critical step in the DTI’s aggressive digitalization efforts. By enabling faster transactions, seamless access to corporate records, and reducing bureaucratic red tape, we are strengthening market integrity, enhancing efficiency, and making it easier for businesses to invest and grow,” Roque said in a statement
Technology-driven business solutions
The SCORE Protocol establishes a secure and automated framework for exchanging corporate records and regulatory data between the DTI and SEC.
The partnership utilizes Application Programming Interface (API) technology to enable real-time data exchange, ensuring faster and more transparent regulatory processes.
Additionally, both agencies have committed to prioritizing data privacy and security. The protocol ensures strict compliance with personal and sensitive information protection while reducing compliance burdens on businesses.
Recognizing SEC’s commitment to excellence
At the event, Roque commended the SEC for achieving the Philippine Quality Award Level 3 for Mastery in Quality Management, making it the first national government agency to receive this distinction.
She highlighted the shared vision of both agencies in building a globally competitive and digitally advanced business landscape.
