The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) signed an agreement aimed at collaborating on product development, market promotion, and sharing best practices on environmental, social, and governance practices.

A working group will be formed to implement these initiatives, the bourse said in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

“I believe this MOU is a good starting point for the relationship between PSE and TWSE and is key to fostering the friendship recently formed between us and exploring mutually beneficial endeavors for the two bourses,” PSE president and CEO Ramon S. Monzon said on Tuesday.

The signing took place on August 20, 2024 in Taipei, led by Monzon and TWSE chair Sherman Lin.

“TWSE’s insights on product and technology development, regulatory and sustainability initiatives will serve as invaluable inputs to our Exchange,” he added.
