SMAC has about 10 million members while Mabuhay Miles has over 6 million members.
“This partnership represents more than just a synergy between two esteemed brands; it signifies a commitment to enhancing the lives and experiences of our loyal customers, setting a new benchmark for the industry,” PAL president and chief operating officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng said.
“As we embark on this renewed journey together, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this partnership a reality,” he added.
The renewed partnership boosts the conversion rate between SMAC Points and Mabuhay Miles, effective Sept. 1, allowing members to gain more value, shop more, and fly more.
Prior to the increase, conversion rates stood at 250 SMAC points for 100 Mabuhay Miles while PAL members could convert 500 miles to 50 SMAC points.
“For more than 20 years, SMAC has been guided by a commitment to service excellence, offering unparalleled shopping experiences to our valued members,” said SMAC chief operating officer Kevin Hartigan-Go.
“We are grateful to have found a partner in PAL Mabuhay Miles that shares our values and dedication to providing the best services and fostering customer loyalty,” he added.
