Top PH conglomerates join DENR’s `Forests for Life’ reforestation push
Seven of the country’s largest business groups have pledged their support for the Department of Environment and Natural Resources' (DENR) newly launched “Forests for Life” program, a nationwide initiative aimed at restoring critical forest areas and enhancing the country’s climate resilience.

DENR sets in motion ‘Forests for Life’ program, aims to plant 5 million trees by 2028
With a target to plant five million trees across key provinces, the initiative is projected to sequester 3.5 million tons of carbon by 2038, supporting national climate mitigation efforts.
