Meralco hikes July power rates by P0.4883/kWh after two months of cuts
After two consecutive months of electricity rate reductions totaling P0.8575 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) has announced a P0.4883 per kWh increase in power rates for July. The adjustment brings the overall rate for a typical household to P12.6435 per kWh, up from P12.1552 in June.

Meralco hikes April electricity rate by 72₵/kWh on higher WESM costs
Manila Electric Co. raised its rates by P0.7226 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) for the April billing cycle, bringing the overall electricity rate for a typical household to P13.0127 per kWh from P12.2901 in March.
