The country's jobless rate hit 3.9 percent in October 2024, up from 3.7 percent in September, but remained lower than the 4.2 percent recorded in October 2023, according to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
The Philippine job market showed significant improvements in September 2024, with the unemployment rate falling to 3.7 percent from 4.5 percent in September 2023 and 4 percent in August 2024.
