Meralco hikes July power rates by P0.4883/kWh after two months of cuts
After two consecutive months of electricity rate reductions totaling P0.8575 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) has announced a P0.4883 per kWh increase in power rates for July. The adjustment brings the overall rate for a typical household to P12.6435 per kWh, up from P12.1552 in June.

Meralco cuts electricity rate by 21.89¢ per kWh for January
This adjustment lowers the overall rate for a typical household to P11.74 per kWh, compared to more than P11.96 per kWh in December 2024, and a P44 reduction in the January billing for households consuming 200 kWh.
