Japan-backed The Company brings global coworking network to Makati

The country’s financial capital welcomes a fresh name in premium workspaces as The Company Makati opens its doors in Legazpi Village in August.

Managed by Zeroten Philippines Inc., the local arm of Japan’s Zero-Ten Park Co., Ltd., the new hub brings global expertise and local innovation to the heart of the country’s premier business district.

Located on the 11th floor of the Frabelle Business Center, the 860-square-meter facility blends functionality and flexibility.

The Company Makati offers coworking areas, private offices, meeting rooms, event spaces, quiet work pods, and lounges—catering to entrepreneurs, creative professionals, and corporate teams alike. The site is open 24/7 and is supported by high-speed Wi-Fi, secure access, and a full-service concierge.

Both a landing pad and launchpad

“This new hub is more than just a coworking space,” said Joy Garingo - Dela Serna, general manager of The Company Philippines. “We aimed to create the best place where ideas and infrastructure merge, allowing founders, creatives, and remote teams to grow together.”

The opening marks The Company’s second location in the Philippines, following its successful Cebu operation. The brand now spans five countries—Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, the United States (Hawaii), and the Philippines—supporting over 400 companies and 1,800 members worldwide.

Designed as both a landing pad and launchpad, The Company Makati features a dedicated Japanese Desk to assist foreign companies with local hiring, legal compliance, and business matchmaking. This multilingual service underscores the site’s role as a gateway for Japanese and international firms expanding into Southeast Asia.

International reach, local impact: Startup Island PH and Artist-in-Residence

“Makati is a strategic step in our vision,” said Masaki Suguro, CEO of Zeroten Philippines Inc. and COO of Zero-Ten Park Co., Ltd. “We’re not just filling workspace seats. We’re focused on building long-term business value. We promise startups and global teams the support, tools, and community they need to grow.”

But the space isn’t exclusive to foreign investors. Through programs like Startup Island PH and its Artist-in-Residence initiative, The Company Makati supports local entrepreneurs, creative professionals, and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to scale.

Situated in one of Makati’s most walkable and vibrant areas, The Company Makati enjoys proximity to parks, cafés, and cultural hubs. Its adaptable offerings include day passes, build-to-suit solutions, and dedicated offices for businesses of all sizes—from solopreneurs to regional teams.
