Insider Spotlight
Themed “Disrupt,” the annual summit positioned digital disruption not as a passing phase, but a standing imperative for organizations navigating today’s fast-moving landscape.
“Disruption is not a passing trend. At Globe Business, it is a belief system that drives us to think boldly, move with speed, and build meaningful connections with our customers,” said KD Dizon, vice president and head of Globe Business said on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Why it matters:
The summit framed disruption as a critical business mandate—one that requires leadership, not just adaptation. With industries under pressure from rapidly evolving technologies, Globe encouraged firms to either “be the architects of disruption” or risk being sidelined by it.
“The era of disruption demands proactive leadership. We can either wait for disruption to happen to us or be architects of disruption through bold, decisive action,” Dizon said .
Expert voices drive the message home
Speakers urged companies to embrace constant reinvention and experimentation:
Tech-driven learning and interaction
Globe Business debuted the “Spectrum Code,” an in-app feature that helped attendees identify their digital leadership persona. Based on these insights, guests were directed to sessions best suited to their needs, spanning cloud-first strategies, cybersecurity, and innovation scaling.
The summit also featured “Experience Labs”—an interactive showcase of Globe Business’ digital ecosystem, including live demos on AI, secure cloud, and cyber defense solutions powered by connectivity and strategic partners like Google, Huawei, and ZScaler .
The big picture:
Globe is positioning GSummit not just as a conference but as a catalyst. Through its expanding partner network and service portfolio, it aims to move Philippine firms from passive observers of change to proactive drivers.
“Disruption begins with leadership, not just by title but through the choices we make every day,” Dizon added .
