The country’s leading health, wellness, and beauty retailer brought together women across industries and generations for an afternoon of courage, connection, and empowerment.
A celebration of collective empowerment
“Today is all about women empowerment, giving women a voice, a platform, and a community where we can share stories, exchange ideas, and remind one another that we are never alone in our journeys. Through the Women’s Forum, Watsons continues to open spaces that uplift, educate, and inspire. At Watsons, empowerment has always been part of who we are,” Kim Reyes, beauty business unit and commercial services director, said in a press release dated Oct. 13, 2025.
Empowering women in every walk of life
A panel of inspiring women leaders—Ting Joson, Karen Ibasco, Lynn Pinugu, and lawyer Star Elamparo—shared stories of discipline, purpose, education, and advocacy, each proving that empowerment can take many forms.
Their journeys highlighted how every woman, regardless of background, has the power to create change in her own way.
The event also featured PowHER Stories, an open mic segment where women candidly shared personal experiences of resilience and self-discovery. Attendees engaged in wellness and creative activities like perfume-making, watercolor portraits, and message walls.
Watsons’ continuing advocacy“The celebration doesn’t end here. Empowerment isn’t just a one-day event. It’s something we live and breathe every day. It’s in the way we care for ourselves, how we treat others, and how we lift other women up,” said Sharon Decapia, senior assistant vice president for marketing, PR and sustainability.
“At Watsons, we truly believe that when women empower women, the world becomes a better place,” she added.
