This annual initiative honors Filipinas who have achieved success in their careers and personal advocacies, celebrating those who drive social change and economic progress in the Philippines.
The awards recognize outstanding women in eight categories: Arts, Culture & Heritage; Business; Education; Media & Public Affairs; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); Social Services; Sports, and Culinary Arts.
Nominees must meet the following qualifications:
Filipino citizenship and good moral character
At least three years of advocacy work by April 2025
A sustained project improving society
No prior recognition from other award-giving bodies
Not a Zonta member or Security Bank employee
Not a parent, child, sibling or half-sibling of a Zonta Club of Makati & Environs member or Security Bank senior management team member
Aileen Ruiz–Zarate, Bravo chair for 2025, expressed pride in the partnership. "Zonta Club of Makati & Environs is honored to continue recognizing unsung heroes—women who, through their outstanding achievements and body of work, have demonstrated unwavering commitment to leadership and service that have empowered not just themselves but others and have made a sustainable impact on people’s lives and on the planet,” Ruiz-Zarate said.
Tanya Ansaldo-Deakin, Security Bank’s FVP and corporate communications head, highlighted the initiative’s alignment with the bank’s mission: "We recognize that when women succeed, communities thrive, and the ripple effect of their success can be felt far and wide.”
Winners will receive a financial donation to support their chosen causes, in addition to joining the distinguished roster of Bravo women.
