Government and business leaders will gather on June 16 at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati for the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) Infrastructure Forum.

Transport Secretary Vivencio “Vince” Dizon will present his agency’s first 100-day accomplishments and upcoming projects to modernize roads, railways, airports, and seaports.

Meanwhile, Information and Communications Technology Secretary Henry Aguda will unveil plans to boost digital connectivity and cybersecurity, with a special push for underserved and remote areas.

“This year’s iteration of EJAP’s annual infrastructure forum will give stakeholders an exclusive look at how the government and private sector are working hand in hand to address challenges in the transportation and telecommunications sectors, especially at a time of rapid urbanization and artificial intelligence,” said EJAP president Myla Iglesias-Acuña.

Gold Sponsors Grab Philippines, Converge ICT Solutions Inc., Globe Telecom Inc., and the PLDT Group will join a panel discussion following the secretaries’ speeches.

Also backing the event are San Miguel Corp., Metro Pacific Investments Corp., Filinvest Development Corp., Megawide Construction Corp., and International Container Terminal Services Inc.

The forum’s theme, “Government Infrastructure Program: What’s Been Achieved and What’s Next,” will drive conversations on how both public and private efforts can better shape the country’s physical and digital landscape.
