Trade and Industry Secretary Roque emphasized the importance of integrating innovation, integrity, and inclusivity across the nation’s industrial sectors.

“By working together, we ensure that infrastructure development not only fuels economic growth but also safeguards the welfare of every Filipino,” Roque said, linking the initiative to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Bagong Pilipinas agenda.

This ambitious plan envisions a modern, vibrant, and secure nation, with secure construction projects playing a key role in economic progress and national stability.

NSC Director General Eduardo M. Año expressed optimism regarding the MOA and lauded the proactive measures taken by PCAB.

He noted that recognizing the national security implications inherent in regulatory duties is a critical step forward.

“The NSC fully welcomes this initiative as it underlines our joint responsibility to protect the country against evolving threats,” he added.

Witnessed by DTI-CIAP-PCAB Director Pericles P. Dacay and NSC Deputy General Marlo M. Guloy, the agreement marks a milestone in strengthening oversight of construction projects.

This strategic partnership is expected to usher in enhanced inspection protocols and risk prevention measures, thereby securing the nation’s future.
