DMCI Holdings, Semirara Mining named among Asia’s best by FinanceAsia

DMCI Holdings Inc. and its subsidiary, Semirara Mining and Power Corp. (SMPC), have been recognized as among Asia’s top-performing companies at the 25th Asia’s Best Companies Poll conducted  by FinanceAsia, a leading regional business publication.

DMCI Holdings secured a silver award in the Industrials category and a bronze in Infrastructure, affirming its leadership in the construction and utilities sectors. SMPC received the highest accolade — a gold medal — in the Basic Materials category, underscoring its robust performance in mining and energy.

The annual FinanceAsia poll is based on nominations from professional investors and financial analysts across the region. Companies are evaluated on key criteria such as corporate behavior, governance, and business performance over the past 12 months.

“This honor reflects the hard work and dedication of every member of our organization,” said Isidro A. Consunji, chair and CEO of both DMCI Holdings and SMPC. “It affirms our commitment to creating long-term value for stakeholders while contributing to national progress.”
