  • Blends open-air spaces with transport-linked access
  • Launch activities include Valentine’s events and Lunar New Year celebrations

Ayala Malls Arca South officially opens its doors on Feb. 13, positioning itself as Taguig’s next-generation lifestyle destination designed for connection, convenience, and community.

The new mall introduces an open-air, nature-filled environment aimed at creating a seamless “third space” for professionals, families, and residents in the south.

With integrated basement parking and direct links to major transport hubs, the development is built to fit into daily routines while offering a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere.

What’s happening

Ayala Malls Arca South blends modern retail with curated communal zones that encourage exploration and longer stays.

Fresh Grounds, the company’s first-ever roastery zone, anchors the mall’s culinary experience. The space gathers artisanal coffee and pastry concepts from local and international brands, including the Philippines’ Ahon Coffee, Malaysia’s JB Kopitiam, and the Vietnamese-inspired Saigon Coffee.

Nearby, The Crates offers a fresh market-style setup featuring regional delicacies, fresh produce, and flower stalls. Outdoor food trucks further expand dining options, with brands such as Cibo, Yushoken, Goof! Doughnuts, Mos Burger, and German Doner Kebab serving crowd favorites.

Why it matters

Ayala Malls continues to expand its footprint in growth corridors across Metro Manila, with Arca South serving as a key estate development in Taguig.

The mall’s design emphasizes open-air strolls, sun-lit interiors, and green spaces — a shift aligned with post-pandemic consumer preferences for well-ventilated, lifestyle-oriented retail environments.

By integrating accessibility through the Metro Manila Skyway East Service Road and major thoroughfares such as C-5 and EDSA, the property strengthens its appeal to both residents and office workers in nearby business districts.

What’s next

The mall’s launch weekend coincides with Valentine’s celebrations, featuring 90s-themed installations, vintage photobooths, a live performance by indie singer-songwriter Amiel Sol, and an outdoor cinema screening of romantic comedies.

Festivities will also mark the Year of the Fire Horse with zodiac displays, dragon and lion dances, and festive décor aimed at drawing families and community groups.

With more stores and experiences set to open in the coming months, Ayala Malls Arca South is positioning itself as a dynamic retail and lifestyle anchor in the south — one designed to evolve alongside its growing community. —Ramon C. Nocon | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
